For more than 50 years, the Crocker has proudly presented its classical concert series, featuring the finest musicians and singers from the Sacramento region and around the world. These educational performances are approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission, and draw inspiration from art on view at the Museum. 

Carpe Diem String Quartet, violin, violin, viola, and cello 
Celebrate the fluidity and mischievousness of works inspired by Gladys Nilsson's eccentric, vivacious paintings. Featuring pieces by Joseph Haydn and contemporary composer Korine Fujiwara, this performance balances classical tradition with playful innovation and unbounded creative energy.
