For more than 50 years, the Crocker has proudly presented its classical concert series, featuring the finest musicians and singers from the Sacramento region and around the world. These educational performances are approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission, and draw inspiration from art on view at the Museum.

Venture on an American musical road trip inspired by the Crocker’s installation From Sea to Shining Sea. Follow along from ragtime to minimalism, with tour stops through jazz, bluegrass, folk, spirituals, and rodeo themes. Featuring Scott Joplin, George Gershwin, Philip Glass, and Dawn Avery, this vibrant program celebrates the diverse voices that shape American music.
