Gain a deeper understanding of how artists across time have conveyed space and depth on a two-dimensional surface. Designed for adult learners with an interest in visual arts, architecture, or art history, this course provides technical instruction in one-point and two-point linear perspective as well as atmospheric (aerial) perspective. Attendees will participate in observational drawing exercises, demonstrations, and analysis of masterworks from the Museum's collection and architecture.
