Senior Studio: Beginning Watercolor Painting

What To Expect

Experience the Crocker's world-renowned collection and diverse exhibitions through discussion and artmaking, and let great art of the past and present inspire your own creative expression. Most classes include at least one gallery visit to view the permanent collection or a special exhibition. The Museum's highly trained staff and instructors are committed to providing students of all experience levels with a supportive and engaging experience. Advance registration required.

Senior Studio is an opportunity for older adults to engage and connect while making art under the guidance of a trained teaching artist. In this class, explore serene still life watercolor painting. Senior Studio is geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome. Participants must provide some supplies. 

Supply List:

  • Suggested: Winsor & Newton Cotman- Sketcher’s Pocket set, set of 12, assorted colors, half pans, available for $20.50 at Blick.

  • Small round brush for details
