What To Expect

Experience the Crocker's world-renowned collection and diverse exhibitions through discussion and artmaking, and let great art of the past and present inspire your own creative expression. Most classes include at least one gallery visit to view the permanent collection or a special exhibition. The Museum's highly trained staff and instructors are committed to providing students of all experience levels with a supportive and engaging experience. Advance registration required.
Experience painting outdoors on location in this class designed to help students of all levels elevate their technique and skill level. Observe atmospheric effects and seasonal changes and learn how to work efficiently to capture the ever-changing light, subject matter, and weather. Enjoy painting demonstrations daily with discussions and critiques, as well as one-on-one instruction throughout the 3-hour sessions. All levels welcome. Participants must provide their own supplies.
