Crocker Art Camp kids get an art experience like no other. Daily visits to the galleries, behind-the-scenes access from freight elevator to rooftop, and all-day engagement with Crocker art educators and local teaching artists build cultural competency and art appreciation.
Campers embark on a series of individual and collaborative art projects that build camaraderie and exposure to a variety of mediums and techniques, culminating in an end-of-camp art show. Crocker camps focus on process over product and offer campers an opportunity to explore diverse subjects and materials through the Museum’s renowned collection and special exhibitions. Each session is taught by experienced art educators with an 8:1 camper to facilitator ratio, allowing each participant to make art directly alongside local artists.
Thematic activities and experiences in the studios and throughout the Crocker’s beautiful outdoor spaces round out a summer of fun, enrichment, and artmaking.
Extended day care is available from 4 – 5 PM for an additional $100. Extended care must be purchased for the entire camp session and is not available on a single-day basis.
Each camper receives a 100% cotton Crocker Kid t-shirt. All supplies are included.
