For more than 50 years, the Crocker has proudly presented its Classical Concert Series, featuring the finest musicians and singers from the region and around the world. These educational performances are approximately 60 minutes with no intermission and draw inspiration from art on view at the Museum.

Known for her nimble technique, nuanced tone, and impeccable sense of timing, pianist Amber Yiu-Hsuan Liao presents a diverse selection of preludes by composers such as Alexander Scriabin, Frédéric Chopin, and Frederic Mompou, as well as a Franz Schubert sonata and Yiu-Hsuan Liao’s original works, "Concert Études for Developing Pianists Inspired by Taiwanese Folk Songs."
