2026 Art Auction
Each year, Art Auction season brings together artists, collectors, and community members in support of the Museum. Big Names, Small Art (BNSA) along with the Silent and Live Auctions showcased work from 358 emerging and established artists from the Sacramento region and beyond. This year 415 works were auctioned, raising more than $497,000, excluding the portion of sales paid directly to the participating artists, to support the Crocker as we provide engaging arts experiences for thousands of children, families, and adults.
Thank you to the 1,660 patrons whose sponsorships, donations, bids, and participation helped make this year’s Art Auction season a huge success!
Art Auction is a highly anticipated Sacramento tradition that draws thousands of bidders from the Sacramento region and beyond. Established and emerging artists are invited to submit their work for this annual event that features two virtual auctions—the Silent Auction and Big Names, Small Art—as well as a rousing, in-person Live Auction. The fun and festive Preview Party is the only in-person opportunity to explore all works available for bidding!
Each year, Art Auction helps raise money to support our world-class exhibitions and thought-provoking programs, impacting thousands of children, families, and adults served by the Museum. So, remember to bid high and bid often!
