Sacramento's long, hot summers are about to get even hotter! Enjoy live music at the Crocker's Jazz Nights, an outdoor summer series exploring the essentials of jazz while showcasing the bold sounds shaping its future. Five standout acts celebrate this quintessentially American genre in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Each concert features two 45-minute sets with a 15-minute intermission—offering time to stretch your legs, shop the Museum Store, or grab refreshments.
Seating opens at 6:30 PM. Music begins at 7 PM. Limited seating available. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
Tod Dickow and the Charged Particles
Saxophonist Todd Dickow joins the electrifying trio Charged Particles for an evening bridging bebop traditions and contemporary jazz fusion. Expect dynamic solos steeped in Coltrane and Shorter, inventive Latin-jazz influences, and virtuosic improvisations from this powerhouse collaboration.
