To celebrate National Poetry Month, the Sacramento Poetry Center and the Crocker present a poetry recital of original and canonical works by women exploring their role in social justice movements for human rights. Enjoy a dynamic evening of art and performances that showcase Sacramento’s vibrant tradition of spoken and written word. Brief open mic on related themes to follow.

A follow up, partner event will take place at the Sacramento Poetry Center on Friday, April 17 at 7 PM.
