Step into your creative era with the Crocker’s Teen Art Labs, artistic workshops that offer the chance to explore visual arts and define your unique visual aesthetic. Get inspired by art on view from the Crocker’s collection and experiment with artmaking from diverse media.
Theme: Hip Hop-Inspired Artmaking
Discover the unique styles of iconic hip hop artists and learn about the history and significance of graffiti within the movement. Then, get creative by practicing graffiti techniques—either replicating classic styles or inventing your own original design. Using colorful paint pens, you'll bring your artwork to life on a vinyl record, paying tribute to the legendary sound of hip hop scratch and music.
