Celebrate the voices and visions of groundbreaking Black female directors in this film series inspired by the exhibition Black Artists in America: From the Bicentennial to September 11. From love stories to cultural legacies, each screening spotlights a powerful perspective and features a special introduction and discussion by local artists, organizers, and community leaders.

Childhood rivals turned lifelong teammates Monica and Quincy navigate the highs and heartbreaks of love and ambition—on and off the court—in this soulful coming-of-age story about passion, identity, and the game that brings them together.

The Museum implements a bag search as a security measure at all Thursday evening events. Purses and personal bags larger than 8" x 6" x 2" are prohibited inside the Crocker Art Museum during events. Baby and medical bags no larger than 16” x 16” x 8" are permitted, but may be searched and tagged by security.
