Through observation of French paintings on view in the exhibition Reform to Restoration and a live nude model in the studio, analyze the idealized proportions of the human figure then produce studies and an acrylic painting on canvas. Some drawing experience is helpful for this class, which focuses on the classical human form.
Supply List: Participants must bring a 16” x 20” canvas. All other supplies are provided.
