Delve into the power of portraiture on film with a series inspired by the Crocker’s photography collection documenting the people, places, and moments in history that define the Golden State. Presented in partnership with California Humanities, which supported the making of these films through the California Documentary Project grant program, this series includes a Q & A with filmmakers and film participants following each screening.

Fanny: The Right to Rock (1 hour, 36 minutes)
The untold story of a Filipina American garage band that morphed into the ferocious rock group Fanny, the first all-women band to release an album with a major record label.

The film's director, Bobbi Jo Hart, and band members, Jean Millington and Brie Darling, will be present for a Q&A following the screening.
