On November 26, 2017, the Crocker Art Museum invites its visitors to join more than 400 museum communities around the world in supporting their local museum stores on Museum Store Sunday. Shoppers at the Crocker Art Museum Store will find exhibition-related and regional art objects as well as artful gifts for all ages. Each visitor can enter for a chance to win a signed Gregory Kondos California 2018 calendar along with a copy of the limited-edition catalogue Unveiled: The Crocker Art Museum Collection.*
Known throughout the community for its beautiful and meaningful art treasures, the Crocker Art Museum Store has become a destination, especially during the holiday season, for those who seek beautiful and thought-provoking art objects for their homes and offices, wearable art, and gifts that invite the recipient to explore their creativity. While a general admission ticket to the Museum is not required to visit the store, many art lovers who explore the galleries enjoy browsing the store for exhibition-related gifts that will remind them of the unique, and meaningful moments they experienced at the Crocker.
"What I like about this event is that proceeds from purchases at the Crocker Art Museum Store help support the Museum’s exhibitions and hundreds of education programs offered at the Crocker each year," says Crocker Art Museum Store Manager, Pam Pesetti. "Purchases also support local artists who create many of the items we carry, so that sense of community makes this shopping event truly unique."
