About the Instructor:

For the past 15 years, Laura Schofield has been an instructor at Academic Talent Search (ATS) through CSUS, where she instructs grades 4 through 9 students in beginning cartooning, animation, Stop=motion and Anime/Manga. “I love teaching young students. They are excited to participate and absorb everything we cover in class. This willingness and enthusiasm to learn makes me a better educator because I draw from their energy.” “Crocker Art Museum offers a program that enhances my teaching skills by allowing the freedom to be flexible in my curriculum, thus permitting me to match the student’s needs and learning pace.”
