Three-day Class: September 13, 27 & October 4

Inspired by the playful humor, fantasy, exaggeration and personal meanings found in the work of Gladys Nilsson and Suzanne Adan, this workshop explores how watercolor can bring lively subjects, decorative elements and surreal images to life. Learn foundational techniques including various washes, color blending, and wax resist while experimenting with imaginative compositions. Through hands-on practice, you'll develop the skills to celebrate humor, spontaneity, and personal meaning in your work.

Instructor: Karen Roughton
Supply List: Participants must provide watercolor paint. Suggested: Winsor & Newton Cotman- Sketcher’s Pocket set, set of 12, assorted colors, half pans. Gouache or Opaque water paints are not permitted.
