Practice a multitude of printmaking techniques such as monoprinting, relief printing, and stamping in this exploratory experience. Discover practical uses for your prints, including how to make booklets, greeting cards, and mixed media works.

Instructor: Sandi Escobar was born in Hayward, California in 1980. Her parents immigrated from México in 1971 and after moving up to Northern California, they made their way back down to Los Angeles where they raised their family and still reside. Escobar, the third of four children, went to California State University Northridge, where she received her B.A. in Studio Arts in 2004, followed by her M.A. in Ceramics in 2007. She left Southern California for Northern California to attend CSU Chico where she received her MFA in Ceramics & Sculpture in 2010. She is currently Professor of Sculpture and the Art Department Chair at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. At Sierra, she is deeply involved in working with historically marginalized and underrepresented communities.
