EARTH PAINT: A Workshop in Ancient Processes and Contemporary Expression

Experience the transformative process of changing natural minerals into pigments and then into paints. Use your freshly created paints to explore your own creativity with a variety of painting techniques and mixed media materials like canvas, paper, leather, and stone. No art experience necessary. All supplies are included.
Instructor: Maestro Stan Padilla is a painter and paint maker with over 30 years experience using common minerals and gem stone essences in his artwork. He will share knowledge, stone lore, stories and myths along with technical skills in the workshop.
