Known as an expert of light and color, Monet is the perfect subject for this one-day workshop in which students will enjoy a relaxing mix of art history and studio class experiences.

Instructor bio: Instructor Patris left the education profession in 2004 to pursue her art full time. She has been juried into several national plein air painting competitions, and her work is in many private and public collections. Patris opened her own studio and gallery in Oak Park where she exhibits her artwork along with other local artists and coordinates other art-related events. She teaches art classes on a wide variety of subject matter both in her studio and online.
