Floral Paintings from Braque to Chagall

Experiment with pastels, acrylic paint, and non-representational color to capture the texture of flowers, then paint floral still-lifes from observation in this four-session class.

This is a four-session class beginning on November 8. Registration covers all four class dates - November 8, 10, 15 and 17.

Instructor: Patris

Instructor bio: Instructor Patris left the education profession in 2004 to pursue her art full time. She has been juried into several national plein air painting competitions, and her work is in many private and public collections. Patris opened her own studio and gallery in Oak Park where she exhibits her artwork along with other local artists and coordinates other art-related events. She teaches art classes on a wide variety of subject matter both in her studio and online.
