Building on the success of last year’s virtual auction, Art Auction Season 2021 will feature the same lively events in a new hybrid virtual and in-person format. Support raised from this year’s Art Auction Season is critical for the Crocker and for the thousands of children, families, and adults the Museum serves every year. Your generous support is needed now more than ever, so remember to bid high and bid often!

This year's Art Auction Season has two virtual auctions, one live auction, and an exhibition! Bidding on all artworks begins May 10. First time using Bidsquare? Go to our blog to learn how to get started. Remember: Registering a few days in advance of the May 10 auction opening will ensure you will be approved in time to bid. BIG NAMES, SMALL ART (BNSA) is a virtual, silent auction of more than 200+ small artworks (12 x 12 inches or smaller) with bidding on each starting at just $25, regardless of the work’s fair market value. Online bidding for BNSA begins May 10 on Bidsquare and ends Saturday, June 5, with one artwork closing every minute beginning at 1:00 PM. View BNSA artworks here.

LIVE ART AUCTION is a festive, socially distanced event to be held outdoors in the Museum’s courtyard on the evening of Saturday, June 5. Table sponsorships at the in-person event start at $1,000, and the event will include a cocktail party, socially distanced al fresco dinner, and a live auction of 15 select original artworks by some of our region’s most sought-after artists. This event is SOLD OUT – if you are interested in joining the waitlist to purchase tickets, please email

The Live Art Auction will also be livestreamed on the Bidsquare platform with real-time virtual bidding beginning at 8:30 PM. If you are unable to join us in-person, there is still an opportunity to bid and win these amazing works of art. Absentee bids may be placed beginning May 10. View Live Art Auction works here.

SILENT ART AUCTION is a virtual auction featuring 100+ original works of art by some of the region’s most renowned artists. Online bidding opens May 10 on Bidsquare and ends Sunday, June 6, with one artwork closing every minute beginning at 1:00 PM. View Silent Art Auction works here.

ART AUCTION EXHIBITION will feature all Live Art Auction and Silent Art Auction works and will be on view at the Museum from Sunday, May 23 through Sunday, June 6.
