The Crocker is taking measures to ensure in-person class participants maintain appropriate distance to limit and/or avoid close contact with others. Among other things, we are limiting the number of people in our classes, as well as monitoring and marking the distance between class participants. In-person participants must wear a mask — including those who have already been vaccinated — practice social distancing, and comply with health and safety protocols. Captivated by artwork and illustrations in books and newspapers his childhood, Instructor Shanon Essex chose a creative life immersed in visual arts, design and music. That choice led to a BFA in Painting & Drawing from San Francisco’s Academy of Art in the Spring of 2000. His fine art painting and drawing is enjoyed by art enthusiasts and private collectors, and has been included in interior design projects nationwide. Shanon has enjoyed sharing his diverse creative talents and experience instructing drawing and painting classes in Northern California since 2013.
