The Artist takes an admiring look at the silent film stars who were forced to evolve as synchronized sound entered Hollywood and “talkies” took over the screen. Seasoned silent actor George Valentin must learn a few new tricks from the up-and-coming Peppy Miller as the two navigate the technical innovation that would change movies forever.Winner of multiple Golden Globe and Academy Awards, including for its original score, this pleasurable homage to the silent film era offers an entertaining comedy-drama full of charm.'
