Designed for participants who are legally blind or have visual limitations, this class is a fan favorite. Students will learn basic painting techniques and theory while creating landscape and still life compositions.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise.

In addition to practicing ophthalmology, instructor Barbara Arnold loves the outdoors and plein air painting. In drawing and painting on site, she captures a personal feeling unique to a location. Her painting mentors are Rose Edin and Gregory Kondos. Barbara’s paintings are in collections of local residents, and additional works can be seen in the reception rooms at her medical practice and at the office of her husband, Dr. Henry Go of Courtland.
