Senior Series is designed for older adults to engage and connect as they receive step-by-step lessons and encouragement from trained teaching artists. In this class, participants will explore still-life and landscape drawings. Senior Studio is geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise.

Instructor Karen Roughton is an artist, retired professor of art from American River College, and currently a Crocker docent. She has a master’s degree from CSU, Sacramento and has been involved in art education for more than 45 years. She is known for her supportive, easygoing teaching style.
