Poetry night returns to the Crocker to pay tribute to the late painter and poet Frank LaPena (Nomtipom Wintu), the co-curator of the exhibition When I Remember I See Red: American Indian Art and Activism in California and passed away this spring. A selection of LaPena’s poetry will be read along with spoken word performers and original poems shared by participants.

Open mic sign-ups begin at 6 PM.
