Classical Concert: Laudami Ensemble

PRELUDE TOUR: 1 & 2 PM; CONCERT: 3 PM
With their appealing combination of harpsichord and baroque violin, the Laudami Ensemble brings history to life through music. In celebration of the Crocker’s collection of German paintings, the duo presents a concert of German composers and the Italians who inspired them. Known for their lively performances, the Laudami Ensemble – featuring Michael Peterson and Laura Rubinstein-Salzedo – will perform works by Bach, Vivaldi, Froberger, and others.
Before the performance, enjoy an in-depth, docent-led tour of select works in the Crocker’s collection of 19th-century European paintings, and other art from the permanent collection, to help put the music in context with the art.

music you heard. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the
Crocker Cafe until 4:30 PM, and cafe seating remains open until 5 PM.

Concert Series, featuring the finest musicians and singers from around
the region and across the world. These educational performances are
approximately 60 minutes with no intermission and draw a connection to
the art on view at the Museum.

Parking at the Crocker can be impacted during large events. To ensure an easy parking experience during your visit, we suggest using street parking (metered) on 3rd Street, Front Street, or N Street to avoid City of Sacramento parking lot congestion. Stops at 8th & O streets and at 8th & K streets are the closest.
