Calling all Mangakas! Mangaka is the Japanese word for author/illustrator, and in this class participants (ages 10-13) will create whimsical drawings and learn basic acrylic painting techniques to form their imagined manga character on canvas.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise.

Instructor Lizzy Mailho is a graduate of Chico State with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art. Mailho is constantly evolving her style and technique. Her artwork depicts humor, fantasy, ethereal beings, and femininity.
