For Ages 18+

Students will become familiar with this intriguing medium as they experience several hands-on techniques, such as collage, working under wax, and embedding 3-D objects to create four small works.

About the Instructor:

Linda earned her art degree from Sacramento State University and has worked with encaustic and mixed media for the past 10 years. Her contemporary work is about the narratives of life, the fault lines, and the beautiful flaws that make up everything. Her work has been shown throughout Northern California with additional art sales in Dallas and Santa Fe. Linda is an award-winning artist and dedicated member of the Sacramento art community.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
