Sound Healing Yoga in the Ballroom

This session is now full.

The Crocker Art Museum is committed to reducing barriers and increasing accessibility to the Museum and art experiences. The Art Access initiative provides programs and services to help ensure art is available to everyone. Funding for these programs is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Sound-healing yoga is a unique and unparalleled experience that combines two beautiful meditative elements. Be guided through a gentle, 45-minute, flow yoga class by Angie Franklin, founder of Afro Yoga, while absorbing vocals and healing sounds by Niva Flor, Ph.D, an experienced sound meditation instructor in an extraordinary museum environment. This program is open to all experience levels. Participants who only want to enjoy the sound meditation are welcome. Those who wish to participate in the yoga instruction should bring their own yoga mat. Registration is required, and space is limited. This program is free thanks to generous support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Purchase tickets by hitting the REGISTER button, visiting the Museum Admission Desk, or by calling (916) 808-1182.
