Telling stories is at the heart of what connects us and makes us human. Settle in for an evening of live narrative by Capital Storytelling, inspired by the artist Richard Jackson, who places value in experimentation and process over product. Developed by Sacramento State professor Lisa Cantrell, Capital Storytelling empowers individuals to tell their own narratives and, in doing so, to foster empathy and connectivity. Leading up to this performance, budding storytellers are invited to attend workshops led by Cantrell in July at Sacramento State. This program will have ASL interpretation available. More information on workshops can be found at capitalstorytelling.com.
