For Ages 18+
Older adults engage and connect as they receive step-by-step lessons and encouragement from trained teaching artists. For this session, participants will explore still-life paintings using acrylics and watercolors. Senior Studio is geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome.
$150 members • $180 nonmembers

About the Instructor:
Karen Roughton is an artist, member of The Artery in Davis, professor of art at American River College, and Crocker docent. She has a master’s from Sacramento State and has been involved in art education for more than 35 years. She is known for her supportive, easygoing teaching style.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
