Art historian Jill Pease is passionate about art and has visited great museums throughout the world. In this casual and conversational series, Jill gives the inside scoop on must-see artworks. Participants will garner first-hand tips about visiting the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Van Gogh Museum, and others.

About the Instructor:

Jill Pease is the Crocker’s former Docent Education Coordinator/Liaison for the Crocker and has worked in arts education for more than two decades. She is a credentialed community college instructor, a former co-director of the California Consultancy for Arts Education, and was awarded the California Art Education Association’s Award of Merit in 2005. She has master’s degrees in both German and art history from the University of California, Davis

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
