Discover tips and tricks for sewing professional-looking handbags using a variety of handles and fabric. Learn how to design and cut patterns to create bags with original looks. Familiarity with basic machine sewing techniques is required.

About the Instructor:
Jewelry and fiber artist Yvonne Warren's favorite media are beads and textiles. Her business Jewels and Fiber is based in the Del Paso area of Sacramento. Her one person operation is dedicated to creating top quality handbags, unique jewelry and fashionable wearable art. She has always been artsy as long as she can remember and and her eco - conscious, upcylced and recycled art materials with an addition of ethnic fabrics and gems makes her design functional and fun! No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
