Three Sundays, November 4 - 18
For Ages 18+
Create small enamels suitable for jewelry, amulets, magnets, or wall pieces for framing. Become comfortable with several different surface decoration techniques, such as low-relief copper repoussé, fired powder enamel, Limoges painting, and sgraffito.

Instructor: Kim Scott
About the Instructor:
Kim Scott taught herself Limoges enameling in 1985 with the encouragement of local enameling treasure, Fred Ball. She depicts conventional and unconventional figures and objects sourced from such different influences as science fiction movies and mythology to nature and dreams. Scott currently teaches art at the Short Center North, an arts-centered day program for adults with developmental disabilities located in Sacramento.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
