Wee Wednesday: Summer Edition

Wednesday, June 20, 2018
10 - 11:30 AM (Drop In)

This summer, Wee Wednesday expands to include older children. Families are invited to the Crocker to create unique art projects, designed for ages 3 - 12, inspired by artwork in the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. To round off your visit, explore the Museum in new ways through a self-guided tour. This is a perfect opportunity for Wee Wednesday regulars or newbies to bring older siblings to join in the fun.

Sonja White, the dazzling artist behind the Art Spots Wingding and Gem Tones, will be here to share her creative process and lead a hands-on workshop designed to introduce children to the medium of metal. Gem Tones will be unveiled at the Crocker’s Fourth Friday on June 22, and you don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn all about it!

Wee Wednesday will be on hiatus on July 4. Check out the Story Trail Kiosk for a fun adventure instead.
