Capital Dance Project Presents: A Sensory-Friendly Dance Performance
Saturday, August 18, 2018
11:30 AM & 2:00 PM
Everyone is welcome to join us in the Setzer Foundation Auditorium for an inclusive, sensory-friendly dance performance by Capital Dance Project. This performance is designed to make everyone, particularly individuals on the autism spectrum, feel comfortable, safe and accepted in a theater environment. Traditional theater rules will be relaxed and audience members are welcome to enter and exit, play with toys, dance and talk during this live dance performance. Food and drink are not allowed in the Auditorium, but an outdoor picnic area is available and a quiet space will be provided.
Here is a social story about the performance.
