A rare musical and adventure comedy, The Blues Brothers stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as Joliet Jake and Elwood Blues, characters developed on Saturday Night Live 40 years ago. In a mad race across America, they happen upon some of the greatest soul, R&B, and blues singers, including James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and John Lee Hooker. Directed by John Landis, famous for Michael Jackson’s Thriller video and National Lampoon's Animal House, this film is just pure fun.
