About the Instructor:

Sonja White is a sculptor and installation artist with a passion for creating interactive environments that inspire curiosity and connectivity. Her current work is an exploration of radial symmetry in wood and metal, maintaining an interdisciplinary engagement of materials and invention of techniques, seen in installations such as Wingding, a Crocker Art Spot. Sonja's academic background is in art and education, having many years of experience teaching art and facilitating student led projects and installations. She aims to create from a place of wonder and to inspire children and inner children alike. She lives in Sacramento with her six children.
