For Ages 7 - 12

Travel to the land of tigers and elephants, and discover the world of Indian miniatures painting. Learn about the flora, fauna, and folktales of India while making a miniature to take home.

(Per session) $15 members • $20 nonmembers

About the Instructor:

Laurie Seban is a northern California native with a master’s in art history from the University of California, Davis, specializing in non-Western and modern art. She currently teaches Native American art at California State University, Sacramento. For the last 20 years, Seban has also taught preschool and elementary art/art history classes, using hands-on projects that bring the art world to life for children.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
