About the Instructor:
Celina Guadalupe Gonzalez-Cortez, a Studio Art Major at Sacramento State University, was born in Mexico, she moved to the U.S.A at the age of eight years old, and has lived in the country for the past 14 years. While attending community college Celina realized that art and education was her calling. Having taken several art classes and learning academically how to render and create artwork has led her to self-explore. She creates work with various materials and mediums: painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and many more. Her work has been viewed in various galleries and Museums in the Stockton and Sacramento areas.
