Ages 18+

Begin with a tour of Corita Kent’s prints, then explore each step of the printing process at Myrtle Press, located at Verge Center for the Arts. Participants will print multiple layers on fabric and paper using the photo emulsion process. Presented in collaboration with Myrtle Press and Verge Center for the Arts.

$55 members and Verge members • $70 nonmembers

About the Instructor:

Emily Wilson is a Sacramento-based artist who received her MFA from the University of Arizona, Tucson. She is the chair of the Department of Art & Art History at Sacramento City College and has exhibited across the US and abroad.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
