Ages 18+

Artists travel the world in search of magnificent settings and use photographs to create powerful landscape paintings of their travels. After viewing landscape paintings in the Crocker’s collection, use your own photographs as inspiration for creating memorable landscape compositions with acrylics. This class is for all experience levels.

$75 members • $100 nonmembers

About the Instructor:

Kristine Bybee is a native of Sacramento and was educated in Los Angeles. She regularly exhibits her paintings in local and regional galleries, most recently at the Pence Gallery in Davis, and her work is in private and corporate collections. She is an art educator at the community college level and maintains an active practice of producing work for exhibition.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
