Instructors: Davida Feder and Flo Grossenbacher
About the Instructors:
Davida Feder came to art later in life, with particular interests in photography, mixed media and collage. She suspends judgment and criticism as she explores and experiments with color, texture, design, and the use of found objects. She was introduced to mail art by a friend, found the making of it to be a form of play and invited Flo to join her.
Flo Grossenbacher is an educator with over forty years’ experience in using art in classroom settings. She comes from a background of stained glass, mosaics and collage. Her art has allowed her to explore her imagination and the world of self-expression. She loves sharing her passion for art and specifically, for the creation of mail art and collage.
Flo and Davida have fun co-teaching classes in mail art. They frequently work together at Flo’s dining room table studio, creating cards which they mail to each other and to a variety of friends around the world.
