Back by popular demand, this party will bring you one step closer to Nevada’s Black Rock Desert for the once-a-year event too hot to mention by name. Sacramento’s Burners know what we’re talking about! So if you’re packing for the playa, pre-party at the Crocker with electronic beats, sneak peeks of this year’s desert projects, and last-minute gear grabs in the Playa Marketplace. Arrive in style, and be wowed by art cars, one-of-a-kind art installations, and performances all night long. Meet the minds behind Wide Open Walls, as the latest Sacramento mural festival kicks off!

Playa Fashion Show! DJ Mike Paz will fire up the beats at 7 PM in Friedman Court for a desert rampage on the runway! See the latest from: San Francisco artist/designer Christina Pate; artist/designer/fire performer/healer Stephen Nicol of Last One Designs; Nevada City crochet provocateur Lord Von Schmitt; Sacramento's fiery couturiers Daniel and Tony Wichowski CiaoTchow; and Woodland artist/designer Feral Hollowell!

Enjoy $6 drink specials all night from the Crocker Cafe by Supper Club!

Parking at the Crocker can be impacted during large events. To ensure an easy parking experience during your visit, we suggest using street parking (metered) on 3rd Street, Front Street, or N Street to avoid City of Sacramento parking lot congestion. Smartphone users can also download the ParkMobile app to find and pay for parking. The Museum is also easily accessible by Sacramento Regional Transit’s Light Rail. Stops at 8th & O streets and at 8th & K streets are the closest.

If your parking experience does not meet expectations, please email customerservice@crockerart.org.
