Crocker Associate Director and Chief Curator Scott A. Shields, Ph.D., will lead a gallery walk-through of the exhibition Full Spectrum: Paintings by Raimonds Staprans. The exhibition curator and a lead contributor to the shows catalogue, Shields offers insights into the life and work of Staprans as well as an enhanced understanding of this Latvia-born, Bay Area-based artist who, at age 90, continues to paint and contribute to the canon of California art.
