Get advice from a local artist and experienced Etsy seller on how to participate in Etsy, a global community that connects buyers to unique goods. Learn how to photograph your artwork, products, or goods with your smartphone for the purpose of tempting viewers to purchase. Practice your newly acquired skills with the guidance of a professional photographer and local artist.

Instructors: Khimberly Marshall and Farrell Scott
About the Instructors:
Khimberly Marshall is a graduate of Sacramento State University and the Art Institute. She was won numerous awards for art and literature. Previously engaged at the Crocker Art Museum as an Art Corp Fellow embedded in the Block by Block Initiative, she currently works as a media consultant for various clients, including Creative Arts League of Sacramento. She has run many successful crowdfunding campaigns for start-ups while delving deeper into her own artistry as a sculpture. She is also a ninja!
Farrell Scott is a professional photographer and graphic designer with extensive experience in marketing and communications. Scott’s photography ranges from still life and food to child portraiture and architecture with an emphasis on capturing detail. Scott holds degrees in photography and theater arts.

No experience is required unless noted. The Museum provides student-quality supplies included in the fee unless indicated otherwise. Students are welcome to bring their personal supplies; however there is no discount for doing so. Oil paints are not allowed in studio classrooms.
