Calling all mangaka! Mangaka is the Japanese word for author/illustrator, and in this class they'll create whimsical drawings (manga) in traditional black and white, watch anime (animated manga), and talk about the origins of the style. Enjoy a visit from enthusiastic cosplayers wearing detailed makeup and elaborate costumes, ask them about their favorite character inspiration, and paint a figure to resemble a manga character of your own creation!
