My work explores the boundaries between seemingly opposing concepts; subtlety and contrast, beauty and decay, chaos and serenity, light and dark. I see art as an encounter between the artist and the viewer. As the artist the images I am drawn to and the repeating elements in my work reveal to me previously unseen parts of myself. It is my challenge and hope to inspire a moment of contemplation in the viewer that reveals something previously unknown to them.
